What Data We Collect

Assemblage processes the following data:

• From Merchants: Shop domain, product information, inventory levels.
• From Orders: Product variant IDs, quantities, and line item properties (which reflect customer product selections).

What Data We DO NOT Collect

This includes but is not limited to:

• Customer names, email addresses, or contact information.
• Customer billing or payment information.
• Customer shipping addresses.

How We Use Data

We use the limited data we collect solely for the app's core functionality:

• Automatically adjusting inventory levels for components when a customer orders a customizable product.
• Tracking which product components were selected in specific configurations to ensure accurate deductions.

Data Storage and Security

• All data is encrypted in transit (using TLS 1.3) and at rest (using Google Cloud's default encryption).
• Our infrastructure is hosted on Google Cloud Platform, which provides enterprise-grade physical and network security.
• Webhook logs containing order data are automatically and permanently deleted after 30 days.
• We will never sell or share merchant or customer data with any third parties.

Merchant Rights

As a merchant using Assemblage, you have the right to:

• Uninstall the app at any time. All of your shop's data will be automatically and permanently deleted from our systems upon uninstallation.
• Request a manual deletion of your data by contacting us at the email below.
• Review the data we store for your shop's operation via your Shopify admin panel.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. We will notify merchants of any material changes via email or through the app's admin interface.
